RoboScan is a robot driven Barkhausen inspection system for inspecting many different parts, e.g. gears, shafts, etc., and surfaces automatically. The system includes - A robot and Barkhausen Noise sensors in a safety enclosure

Measuring different types of parts is possible by corresponding sensors and different measurement programs and ViewScan templates. RoboScan automatically chooses and changes the sensor needed for the part and defined in the robot program. Measurements are conveniently run through the ViewScan. Parts to be measured are loaded and unloaded manually onto and from the RoboScan. They are placed on the chuck or between the separately driven centers, and are rotated by servo motor. The sensor fixtures including the sensors are connected to the robot arm with pneumatic coupling and are docked inside the safety enclosure. RoboScan for Gears system is equipped with an automatic sensor cleaning brush. Robot programs for testing new part types can easily be taught to the system.
