X-Y Unit X-Y unit placed on the table or attached to the floor stand makes the automatic mapping measurements with the XSTRESS 3000 system possible. With the help of the X-Y-unit you can program the system to move the measurement point in X and Y-directions, and run the stress measurements on the part surface automatically and thus fast and accurately. The X-Y unit consists of three parts: (1) the table, (2) the control unit called Logic controller (Stress Logic) and (3) the joystick (remote controller) for manual movements. On the X-Y unit there are motors and proximity switches for both directions; x and y. The X-Y unit can be operated e.g. on the table, or it can be attached to the Floor stand.
